what we'll be eating this week...

On slate for the coming week...

*spaghetti, Italian bread

*chicken sandwiches, fries, and green beans

*cheesy potatoes and ham, banana muffins (a new recipe)

*pizza mac casserole, savory biscuit bites
(From my last menu-plan, but we never got to it.)

*salsa pasta, Italian bread

*cheeseburger soup, homemade rolls
(Found the recipe for the cheeseburger soup at Stacy's blog...it sounds sooooo good, we just have to try it.)

*chicken & rice, broccoli, walnut carrot raisin muffins
(Tried a recipe for Cheesy Chicken on our last menu plan, but none of us were thrilled. So I'm going back to our old favorite. The muffins are a new recipe...think I had planned them on the last menu-plan as well, but didn't make them.)

**Walnut-cinnamon coffeecake and Morning Fruit Salad--for breakfast next weekend
(Both of these recipes are from the latest issue of Simple & Delicious.)

My parents gave me a new crock pot for my birthday. So anxious to try it out...thus the cheesy potatoes and ham on this week's menu. Of course, we do love that dish anyway. My big problem now is finding a place to keep my new crock pot in my very tiny kitchen.

Ooh, yeah, a new crockpot! I love mine and use it a lot. Surprisingly enough, as much in the summer as winter because it keeps me from running the oven and heating up the kitchen.

Your menu sounds delicious, I want to come eat at your house this week. I still have to work on mine. I hope you guys like the cheeseburger soup. We love it, it's definitely a family favorite around here :)

Oh I love my crockpot. I have two of them going right now. One has pot roast for dinner tonight. The other has spaghetti sauce and meatballs for tomorrow (and leftovers to freeze). I use mine all the time. I want to buy one that has a timer. That's my next kitchen gadget!

I have most of my dinners planned for the week. One day is still up in the air. I'm thinking pancakes or take out LOL!

Enjoy!
take care,
Dawn
