Well, I finally starting getting things ready for our guests. The so-called guest room has been dusted and vacuumed. And I got the futon made up. That was the hard part. I just couldn't decide which sheets to put on it. Flannel? Not flannel? Seems like a no-brainer, right? I mean we are solidly into June. And yet it was into the low 30s during the night and only in the 50s yesterday. So, I opted for the flannel. Figured that was one way of ensuring we'd get some nice warm weather. And I was right...I just heard that we've got a major shift under way and that tomorrow we should reach 90 degrees.
Crazy Great Lakes weather. Guess I'd better go change the sheets.

Well it's been upper 90's here for a while! We left before daylight this morning coming home and it was muggy feeling. I'd enjoy something a bit cooler!
Changing the sheets should be easy enough!
I alternated between hot and cold during the night and then was SO chilly getting out of bed this morning. When I looked at the thermostat, I realized the heat was on the verge of coming on. Heat! In June! And nineties - gross! I sometimes forget that I grew up in the south. They all assume it doesn't get hot in Upstate New York, but 90 is hot to me! Especially when you don't have central AC.
I can't imagine it being that chilly at night in June. Brrrr! We've been in the 80's and 90's here. Good ol' South! :o)
Good grief - 30's and 50's?! What is that? We barely have that in winter time here, hehehe!
AC has been running all day and it's currently a balmy 93ยบ outside. I'd take the flannel off, but hey, they'll survive!
:)
