Go Debi go! I bet your number of pages per hour will pick up once you find something really gripping, but if it doesn't it doesn't matter anyway. You're reading! You're participating in the awesomeness!

Yay Debi!!! I'm so excited about following your reading again this year that I just can't tell you. I'm about to go meet my friend from out of town for coffee and I almost told her no because I didn't want to be away from the readathon :p Oh well, I'll be back soon!

Oh, don't worry about the page numbers - just enjoy what you're reading. That's what it's about anyway, right? Enjoy yourself! Happy reading!

I agree with Nymeth...your pages per hour will change with different books. As long as you're enjoying the book, who cares?

Good Luck, Debi!! I'm off to work in a couple of hours, but I wanted to stop in and cheer you guys on for a bit!! Hopefully, when I get home, I'll get a chance to check in with everyone. And you won't all be sleeping!!

Happy Reading!!

How's it going now? I'm a slow reader, too, but at least am about to finish a book! Just doing a quick check-in.

Nonfiction is always slower than fiction. You'll speed up; I know you will. You also need to give the caffeine a chance to kick in.
