can't catch up

Well, I sooo wanted to get caught up on my blog reading and book reviews before we headed out of town for the rest of the week, but it just ain't gonna happen. Oh well. Hmmm...just think how far behind I'll be come Monday...

Anyway, Happy Canada Day to all of you up north! Happy Birthday, Jean!!! (And by the way, there's something in the mail on the way to you...and I apologize that it's late!) And Happy 4th to all in the U.S.! Hope everyone has a wonderful, wonderful week!

I hope you have a great trip!

I can't believe I missed the read-a-thon! I wasn't planning on doing it myself, but I loved following your blog last year. I did catch up with reading it, but it would have been more fun in real time!

Have fun on vacation!!

And whenever you feel to far behind, comfort yourself with the fact that I think I'm about thirty reviews in the hole! :)

The parcel came today, and I shall be writing a proper thank you note tomorrow or Friday. I'd never heard of the book but have already read a couple of selections by favorite writers (Anne Lamott, Barbara Kingsolver). Hope you guys have a fantastic 4th!

I completely understand where you're coming from! I don't think I've gotten any reading done since the read-a-thon and my blogging has been sparse due to work--and I'm leaving tonight for a week!! ahhhhhh-makes you want to go crazy. :)

I hope you have a fabulous vacation!! Anywhere fun and exciting?

oh, don't you worry! you do have a family to pay attention to as well...!

and also, you're one of the most regular readers and commenters on my blog!

Trust me, you don't want to worry about feeling behind or it becomes a chore instead of fun. I've taken almost two weeks off from blogging, it is a big challenging to get into the swing of things again! I'm just trying not to worry about it, because a litle break is nice. Especially after you completed the entire read-a-thon!

I've given up hope of ever being completely caught up -- as you can see. LOL! I hope you're having a wonderful trip!

I'm home and trying to catch up! But not sure I'll ever be fully caught up. My google reader is full.
Hope you had fun....did y'all go on vacation?
