I should be so excited...it's list-mania day. But I'm just feeling kind of blah (nothing's wrong, just kind of dragging), and it's made it hard to come up with an idea for a list. Decided to just go with a list of firsts from the past few days...
*We watched our first son turn eight-years-old.
*We threw our first snowballs of the season this morning. Not a lot of snow, but enough for snowballs.
*I mailed my first package overseas. (Sorry it's taken me so long, Nymeth!)
*I tried my first 3 Muskateers Mint. Yuck!
*I wrapped my first Christmas presents of the season.

I love how the up is front & center, watching the gift unwrapping with great intent. =)
Somehow I just couldn't bring myself to try 3 Muskateers Mint. I sure hope it was one of those bite-sized ones & not a whole candy bar!
Err... that should be PUP. Not up. It's chily here this morning. Guess my fingers aren't tawed out yet. ;-)
this is such a funny and cute post.
it snowed here too! not much though.
what do these muskateers taste like, then? except for minty, of course.
I totally understand the blahs. Had it last week. I wonder if the changing of weather has something to do with it.
Sorry...meant to add, I love those faces...too precious!
Cool post! THat is a wonderful picture by the way
Snow, you already have snow? Ok, I saw on the news about some up your way, so I can live with that. But wrapping a Christmas present? Already? I haven't even thought about buying any, much less wrapping them yet. You are SO on the ball, woman! :)
Nothing to apologize for, Debi! I can't thank you enough for your generosity, and I'm sure that that package will make my day when it arrives :D
What an absolutely lovely picture. All three of them look so sweet! A happy belated birthday to Gray! By the looks of it he had a wonderful day.
Snow already? It's actually been much colder than usual for this time of year here too. Just a couple of weeks ago there was still a bit of a summer feel in the air, and now it's nearly winter already!
Love the shot of Baker. He is oh so very intent!
Haven't wrapped any presents here but have purchased several, ordered some others, and finished making still some more. I'd love to make all of them; alas, not enough hours in the day.
I don't think I'd like a 3 Mustkateers Mint either. I have bought/made some Christmas presents but I haven't wrapped any of them yet.
No snow yet for us. That usually doesn't happen until January.
take care,
Dawn
Snow! Already!
I'm so curious about what Nymeth's getting, but I'm sure she'll show us when it arrives. :)
Hmmm...a couple of immediate reactions: What?!?!--Christmas presents before Halloween!!! What?!?!--Snow in October!!! We actually hit freezing yesterday, but I was wrapped up in bed and didn't realize it. By afternoon it was in the 70s again. Texas weather is so fickle!
And I hope things pick up for you! I'm kind of feeling the same way right now and have to choose between blogging and reading--and unfortunately my blogging is taking the hit this week after a dismal reading month (except read-a-thon).
Well, it's not snowing but we're freezing. The cat kept climbing up on my shoulder, the other night. I'd wake up, tell her that just doesn't work and move her down a bit. Wake up, remind her that the shoulder thing just doesn't work for me . . . and move her down a bit. Poor old kitty. Her paws are really cold.
I laughed out loud at Baker - ever hopeful there is something good in there for him, huh? Hope Gray had a fab birthday!
Mmmmm...I love 3 Muskateers Mint. I wish I had one right now. If you ever have on you want to get rid of, you can send it right on over to me. ;-D
I can't believe you wrapped a christmas present already! AARRGGHH!!!!!
Wrapping christmas presents, impressive! I haven't even thought about shopping yet!
I love 3 musketeers, didn't know they offered it in mint which I normally like sorta minty things..but no good? That's disappointing!
Happy belated birthday to your big guy!
Muskateers Mint? Sounds terrible! (And I love mint!)
Snow? Wow! I'm once again not going to even hold my breath for snow...I did see some flurries on our mountain trip though!
Christmas presents already? Double Wow! I strive EVERY year to get a head start and have most of it done by now. Needless to say, it won't happen for me this year either. Sigh.
