a tiny glimpse of our new library

Though far from done, I just had to snap this quick picture in the library. Lucky just looked so photogenic (unfortunately, I couldn't get a good shot...but he still looks pretty cute up there).

Unfortunately, it's really starting to look like it's going to be everyone's library but mine. The room is fast filling up, and I don't think there's going to be any room left for my books. Figures. :(

Oooh, I love it! It looks gorgeous Debi! I can't wait to see the whole thing! Now come on Debi, don't tell me with the house of bibliophiles that you have, you thought it would be all yours, lol! And Lucky looks lovely and perfectly at home there :)

Chris,
LOL No, I'm not trying to be greedy here! I didn't want the library to be all mine...I just wanted there to be room for my books along with everyone else's! And it's beginning to look like mine are going to have to find a home elsewhere.

So is getting your own private library such a bad deal? And is that snow I see outside the window? Better now than in January, right?

Jean,
Well, I guess my own private library means having them in massive piles beside my nightstand...just as they have been, except that now they're not even piled in a bookcase, because we took that into the library. ;(

And yep, that's snow. Not a lot, but enough to make it pretty. :)

Since I read your last post first I see that there has been a change in plans...a new bookcase in the plans.

I like your picture. I also like the snow outside your window.

take care,
Dawn

Look at all your snow! We haven't had any that's actually stuck yet, just light flurries.

Lucky looks so much like Minerva!

Lucky looks great in the picture! I can't wait to see pictures of the library once you get everything settled.
