I actually behaved myself...

It's time for Library Loot again, jointly hosted by Eva and Alessandra.

What can I say? I'm very proud of myself...I only picked up one book. (Well two, but the second one is for homeschooling and I probably won't even read the whole thing, just bits and pieces of it.) Of course, the reason I was trying to keep my acquisitions down was because when we were there on Monday, I had yet to finish any of the ones I'd picked up the week before. In fact, the plan was to get no books in addition to The Pequot War (the one I'd requested). But come on, you can't fault me for one additional little book, can you? Truthfully, how many of you could walk out with just one book?!!

So, here's what I got. A Bottle in the Gaza Sea by Valerie Zenatti. Pure impulse. Never heard of it before, but it sounds really good. Anybody read it?

Wow-I'm very impressed by your self control! (I put your post in Mr. Linky for you, btw) I remember reading a good review about A Bottle in the Sea of Gaza, but of course I can't remember where. lol Very cool cover though. :D

That really did show self-restraint. That Zenatti book is intriguing, I watch for your comments on it. Happy reading.

Nope, never even heard of it before. I look forward to your thoughts on it! I am trying to keep my library books under control so I haven't gone browsing yet, but that might change if books don't start coming in soon! So far none of holds are available. I'm impatient, what can I tell you!

I haven't been to the library in a while because I want to focus on reading the hundred books I have piled up on the floor (literally...I'm moving next month so I thought there was no point shelving them until then :P)

I haven't heard of the book, but it does sound good!

This one does look good. And I seem to remember it winning an award or an honor here recently.

I'm impressed with your one. I can't seem to control myself even when I know one is all I can handle.

To reward yourself for being so good, you should definitely stop by my blog and enter my contest for Michelle Moran's books.

*pats Debi on the head* That's a good Debi! Only bringing home a couple of books! lol. Great.....I think you just added A Bottle in the Sea of Gaza to my wishlist without even having read it yet...oh, it's getting bad.
