*freshly fallen snow

*new blog posts from treasured friends who have been absent for a while

*Morning Edition's story on doodling...yay, turns out it's a good thing

*Morning Edition in general

*the smell of freshly brewed coffee

*starting a list of "possibles" for Once Upon a Time

*knowing the weekend is just around the corner

*fun coffee mugs, like the Flintstones one I'm currently drinking from

*little boy giggles...oh yes, they are every bit as sweet as little girl giggles

We had a surprise snow here in the south a week or so ago! It's nice but not sure I could live with it all winter. Warm weather teased us and now it's cold and rainy again. I guess I'll have to have some decaf coffee this afternoon! I'm ready for the weekend too.

I love the Flintstones!!!!! I love drinking coffee and the mug always is a reflection of the coffee and my mood.

That's a nice list you have there!

take care,
Dawn

Those are fantastic things! Though I truly can't even fathom snow right now in our 80 degree weather! Actually it got cool today...we were in the 60s/70s :/

Mmmmm...I want some coffee now..in a cool coffee mug!

No freshly fallen snow here, but I could add

*new-found friends in far-off places

*big boy giggles and smiles

*inside jokes and stories to share into the future

*learning how little it takes to be happy

Thanks for leading me to think of all those, Debi!

Even though I have still to sign up for one challenge, but I've secretly making my Once Upon a Time list as well. :)

Freshly fallen snow? Sheesh--don't know how you do it. When we got back from the trip it was 80 in Dallas but slipped back into the 30s and 40s. BUT we have blossoms and wild flowers and that thrills me.

Those are all really good things indeed.

But...as much as I am a snow lover, and I really am, I am very much ready for spring at this point. The only way snow would thrill me right now is if it was such an enormous blizzard that work shut down for several days. That would be fun!
