Miscellaneous comments:
Well, this was the most I ever slept during a read-a-thon, and the most pages I ever got read during one (because I read so many graphic novels). It was fun having the whole family here this time, but definitely more distracting, too.
Congratulations to everyone who participated! Thank you to all the cheerleaders, and thank you once again to all those who worked so hard to keep Dewey's vision alive!

APPLAUSE! APPLAUSE! How cool to have everyone up and participating, too. My hub was a dear and I woke up to a ... wait for it: a CLEAN kitchen! flabbergasted.
Cheers, Care

I love that your whole family participated. I think we're doing to do that next time. We'll concentrate less on the middle of the night reading, and more on reading as a family.

Yay!!! You did it Debi :D I knew you would!! And look at your page count!! We'll all have good October numbers now, lol. I'm glad that the whole family got some reading done. Even Max read 3 pages, lol. Hope you got some very well needed sleep Debi and that you got to sleep in a little bit on this Sunday!

Whooooooo!!!!! Those are great figures, Debi! (I did a quick calculation and I got 1000+ pages read too, but many of those were half-blank/pictures because of the type of books I read. I think we should still be proud of ourselves for reading what we have!)

And your whole family participated! That's just completely awesome! *hugs* You did wondering, sweetie!

1147 pages is so fantastic, Debi! And I love that your family participated with you. My mom was hoping she could read with me but ended up being out of town (and had to turn off her phone when I was still texting her at 2 am--oops!). Even though I do think it would be more distracting, its so much more fun when people you love are reading with you (even virtually!!). Love you--you did great.
