Max just came and asked me, "Mom, what's it called when you can see through things?"
I answered, "I'm not sure--do you mean x-ray vision?"
Excitedly, he answered, "Yeah, that's it. Thanks Mom!" And ran right out of the room.
My curiousity peaked, I followed, and found he was working on his Christmas wish list.
Santa didn't come through last year when Max asked for lasers that shoot out of one's eyes. But that doesn't seem to have dashed his hopes for a superpower Christmas this year.

LOL! That is so great! :D
Sadly, though, it reminds me of Ambrose's wish from last year. He put snow on his Christmas list. When I told him I didn't think that was possible, he told me he didn't care if Santa brought him anything else, that Santa could have all his presents in exchange for snow. :( One day, we need to move back up north again.
Awww...that is sad. Poor guy. :(
And that reminds me of Christmas back when Max was four. His bestest friend in the whole wide world, a loveable big ball of orange fur named Taco, had died late that summer. All Max wanted for Christmas was to have Taco back. He just couldn't quite seem to grasp the impossibility of that, no matter how much we talked about it.
Awwww-that is SO cute. I remember asking for a pet monkey for Christmas one year. And a pet camel the next. ;)
Eva,
So did Santa come through for you? ;)
Ha! I love it!! Come on Debi...Tell Santa to give him his X-Ray vision! ;)
Well, now I know what to get him ;)
Rather than closing and re-opening your browser, may I suggest you clear your history to clean up GR? It's just a guess but it helps when I do it.
:)
If Santa does decide to give out superpowers this year, I would like the ability to move things with my mind. Let me know if he gets his wish, so I can ask for mine.
I so needed this laugh and smile. I love your son's imagination!
Are you going to read Christmas Mystery this year? I can't wait to hear what the different kids think of it. Their parents, too.
As for x-ray vision, Don asked for a "small thermonuclear device" one year.
LOL. That's so cute!
gosh, if that works I have a few miracles of my own i need!
Awww...reminds me of those ads that used to be in comic books when I was a kid for X-ray glasses!
Awww...sometimes I wish I was a kid again. That is awesome. :)
