This week's question for Booking Through Thursday:
*Okay, there must be something you read that's a guilty pleasure . . . a Harlequin romance stashed under the mattress. A cheesy sci-fi book tucked in the back of the freezer. A celebrity biography, a phoned-in Western . . . something that you'd really rather not be spotted reading. Even just a novel if you're a die-hard non-fiction fan. Come on, confess. We won't hold it against you!
--Almost didn't play this week, because my answer's simply boring. I don't think I do have any guilty pleasures. Maybe I should be embarrassed about everything I read, as none of it is particularly enlightening. (Except, of course, the stuff I read for homeschooling.) My favorite books are psychological thrillers. But I read for fun, and I'm just going to refuse to feel guilty about it! See, told you it was boring.

Your answer wasn't boring... it was honest!
Thanks for swinging by my blog :-)
I feel the same way. No guilt for my reading choices. Whether they contain what some would call substance or are just pure escape, if I enjoy them, that's what matters in the end.
No guilt for me either. If I hide a book it's only because it's inappropriate for my children to get ahold of.
Not boring at all! I don't really feel guilty for what I read either (I did play, btw), but I do consider a few of the books I read "guilty pleasures" :)
Hi Debi, Thanks for popping by my blog ... no such thing as boring answers, just as there is no need to feel guilty about reading!
Ya know,I don't feel guilty about anything I read either! My oldest kid thinks it's funny that I read so many kids books not because I have to but because I want to.
Hi Debi, your answer isn't boring at all... thanks for sharing with us. :)
