I guess my days of being a mystery woman are over here. Kara has threatened to post a photo of me if I don't just do it myself. And I did promise Carrie I would. I have no idea why the idea of it bothers me so. I just hate having my picture taken. I think lots of people do. And it really is silly, I know. I'm just me, no matter what I look like. And I do actually like me, though not how I look, at least most of the time.
So anyway, I'm just gonna bite the bullet and do this...
I tried to take a self-portrait, but it came out rather blurry. I think I might actually look a little better that way.
And here I am, hopefully less blurry, with the rest of my little gang.
Whew. Glad that's over with and I will not have to revisit this issue again. LOL

Oh c'mon now, Debi! That wasn't so hard, was it? =) Nice to have a face with the blog.
I used to hate having my photo taken to. Then I realized that to be fair about how often I was taking photos of everyone else, I should really be in some too. Moral of the story: the more you do it, the less you worry about it. =)
Just say cheese!
Oh, I'm so glad you did this! Those are great pictures, and I'm so happy to have a face with the name! :)
P.S. I think you'll find most women hate to have their picture taken! I know I do!
I'm glad I threatened you into posting a picture - you look great! I looked for a picture of me to post when I started my blog, but literally cannot find one that is less than a year old (b/c I also hate having my picture taken!) - maybe I'll have to try a self portrait, too!
You look like Sissy Spacek in the top photo, and I should know. She lives here in Charlottesville, and was in line with me once at Barnes and Noble.
Bravo, Debi! I agree with Stacy that those are great pictures. Thanks for sharing with us. :)
Woo Hoo!! You did it! And though I know EXACTLY how you feel - you have nothing to worry about - you look great! Great to have a face with the name now! I even got SUPER brave and posted a pic with wet hair in a swimsuit! So if I can do that, ANYONE can post their pic! Of course, I did keep the dark sunglasses on for that pic - and the water and munchkin were hiding me a little - I'm not totally crazy!
Oh yay, I'm so glad you did this Debi! I too am glad to have a face to put with a name. I don't like having my picture taken much either but I'm usually the one taking pics!
I was gonna say the 1st one reminded me of someone I couldn't put my finger on til Jean said Sissy Spacek, she hit the nail on the head! Great shot, I love it!
You Did It! You Did It! You made my night! Ya know that don't ya?! I am *so* gald I can put a face (and a mighty pretty one, at that)with your name! Although, my mind already had a picture of you (funny how we do that). What's even neater is that I had pictured you almost exactly like you look! Your hair was just a little shorter and darker (like Annie's).
I can't stand having my picture taken, either. I critique every one that anyone is ever gonna see. Hard to imagine since I've posted my *goat face* all over my blog, LOL!
Thank you for stepping outside of your comfort zone! You really have nothing to be bashful over! You could have been purple with green zebra stripes and I'd still love ya! :o)
I LOVE seeing the face behind the name....so you'd think I'd have my picture up but I'm chicken too....lol.
Laura
LOOK AT YOU!!!
I love that pose ;-) The glasses rock, and I love how they are perched on the end of you nose - so cute :-)
You have such a great looking family!!
