Damn. I can't believe I had to say goodbye to Jericho...again. And this time, I don't see any way to raise it from its premature grave.
I think the way they ended it upset me nearly as much as the fact that they did end it. It's not that the story was bad. But they rushed to finish up, shoving what should have taken place over several episodes into a single one. It didn't feel at all like the Jericho I'd fallen in love with. I think the actors, the fans, the show itself, all deserved better.
It seems rather silly to be so heartbroken over a television show, I suppose. But I am.

That is so frustrating :( And it's not silly, I know exactly how you feel. I've never watched Jericho, but I spent months worrying about Scrubs not ending properly because of the strike.
It does sound like everyone deserved better. It's too bad it ended like that.
I thought of you when Aaron told me it was the last episode...he has been watching it. And as much as it sucks that they wrapped it up too fast, at least they wrapped it up. There is nothing worse than a show getting cancelled and just disappearing so you have no idea what happens. Then I am always stuck trying to make up my own ending to keep myself happy - it doesn't work so well.
I feel your pain...sorry you have to say good-bye again!

I can't believe you're reading blogs right now!!! Shouldn't you be on your way to the hospital to be having that little babe of yours?!! Guess you gotta do something to kill these last few hours of waiting, huh?
We don't watch Jericho, but still, I'm surprised to hear this. Didn't they just bring it back? What a bonehead decision. Sorry about your show. I know there's several we've liked through the years that they cut and we hated it. :(
I agree with Stacy...what a STUPID decision to cancel this show again! Seriously..after all the hype that they got bringing back the show and the tons of new fans that they brought aboard, they're going to cancel it?? That's just dumb! I'm truly sorry that they ended the show in a rushed way...that's absolutely terrible and they owed their fans so much more than that!

And you think it's silly to be said about a cancelled show? I am *still* not over Friends ending. =P
I was SO mad about Jericho ending last week. For weeks on end they would complete the episode with "season finale coming March 25." Ultimately, evoking some hope in my husband and I who love the show and had hoped it would get picked up again next year. Well then the week before the last episode it changes to "SERIES finale" and the whole plot line gets crammed into 45 minutes. URGH! I'm venting a bit Debi, can you tell?
