In case you haven't met her...

you should really go change that right now. I'm talking about Amanda at A Patchwork of Books. It's hard to describe just how sweet she is...I swear she's got a heart the size of Montana.

And she's doing something really cool on her blog this month. Giving away tons of stuff. Seriously, you should really go read about this, because it's all in honor of Earth Day and Arbor Day and this wonderful planet we call home.

And she's asking for suggestions. What Earth-friendly charity holds a special place in your heart? Because she's also going to be making a donation...and she's going to pick one charity from the suggestions she receives. And the person whose suggestion she chooses will also win a prize. (And I swear, that's not why I'm posting about her plans for the month...in fact, I already told her not to enter my name for the prize...it's just that I think this is such an awesomely cool thing she's doing!) And well, Amanda's just awesomely cool herself!

So I ma not exactly sure how you can say you haven't read much (a coouple of posts ago) - I am pretty sure you read way more than I have managed to read in the entire past year!

Grant has slowed down a bit on his growth. I think he only gained a pound and a few ounces since his 9 month check up. I fail to get at all worked up about weight gain, though. Bryn has definitely taught me that they grow at their own pace!

We call clarissa our pretty, pretty princess so I am pretty sure she would feel perfectly comfortable in that role as appointed by Gray and Max. And I suppose you have a good point about princesses being able to pee anywhere they want...now I just need the royal housekeepers to clean it up!

The planet we call home, eh? You're being awfully presumptuous there. I personally hail from Mars! Or at least that is what I feel like at times! ;)

I agree with you. I really like her blog and after reading her reviews I've purchased quite a few books for my middle school library.
