read-a-thon update 9(?)

I give up. No, not on the read-a-thon. I think I can actually finish this one without a single nap (woohoo), but my brain is so fried that I just totally screwed up all my meticulous stats I was keeping. Oh well...being anal is highly overrated anyway. ;)

I'll still keep track of my total pages. As pathetic as that number shall be.

BTW, I just spent a horrendously large amount of time trying to write a limerick, and I finally had to admit defeat. I so useless right now. Fresh pot of coffee, here I come.

I'm starting to struggle, but I think I'm just going to spend more time on the computer...

You can do it!!!

There once was a lady named Debi
Who didn't liked her books heavy
but during the 'thon
she found she could get it on
and plowed through them like she was driving a chevy.

You're killing me, girl! I can't believe you just did that off the top of your head! You know I may have to shoot you now...after I just wasted 40 minutes of my life trying to do what you just did in seconds. ;)

Well done on getting so far. I can't believe I missed the whole thing. I have been out for the last 24 hours and completely missed it. I think you are all fabulous for doing so well.

I'm so glad you're keeping it up! Who cares if you can't write a limerick?! I have no clue where mine came from; my mom thought I was freakish. I think more things rhyme with 'Eva'. ;) And, I just decided that mom and thon go, hehe.

Please don't do shooting Trish, Debi... (^-~)

Stats are only fun if you're capable of keeping them current! And your total page count will be far from pathetic, I'm sure!

"nothing of importance" - so wrong!
About Debi - I could write a song

Yay you are going to make it to the end (stats schmats who minds). Good for you (oh and your memories below are just lovely) and you get a big cheer!

I remember last time, we wrote haiku in the wee hours, and I struggled to count out 5/7/5 syllables. I was even using my fingers and still failing! Limericks seem like they'd be more difficult.

Well, that's what a little sleep deprivation will do for you...NONE of that makes any sense. :)
