vacation photos, part II

Vacation: Day 7, part 1

Yes, I'm evil...I'm going to make you all wait until the next post for pictures of Chris.

(We arrived in New Orleans late Saturday night, so we didn't do anything but get settled into the hotel.) Since Chris had to work until 3:00 Sunday afternoon, we pulled out the old atlas to see if we could find a bayou to visit. We found Bayou Segnette State Park, which is where we spent our morning and early afternoon.

Just a cool spider.

Of course, we had to take this trail first. ; )

A few random photos of the park.

Grasshopper sex. The grasshoppers in LA are enormous!!!

Faces that make my heart smile. :D

Awww...that spider is almost cute. That means a lot coming from me :P And it's cool to see what a bayou looks like! I wasn't even familiar with the word before Bayou :P

That spider is crazy weird looking! I know the bugs are big in LA, even bigger than Texas! *shudder*

The pics are all *gorgeous* by the way; very jealous of the photography skills!
