A day late. And little to report. Managed to finish the matching hat for Annie. She absolutely loves it (which, frankly, kind of surprises me).
But that's it. No scrapbooking. No writing. No other crafting.
Sometimes it might be important to me, I suppose...but even that's not guaranteed.

What do you mean "that's it"!! That's a lot, I could never do that. Very impressive and very cute; and the cutest model too!
What's not to love? It's a hat! Hats are fun! It was made by Mom, with love in every stitch. I'd say that there's lots there to love.
Ahhh...I'm so jealous! I want to learn to knit so badly! Unfortunately, there are no places that offer lessons in my area, nor do I know anyone in these parts willing to teach me. If you have any suggestions as to books/websites that would help in my process of "self-teaching" I would really appreciate them!
That looks wonderful! You did a great job. I really think it's the same pattern I used to make several hats and scarves :).
What a nice reward having her like it so much.
What's your next project?
take care,
Dawn
Goodness, the hat is more creating then I do in a year, LOL! You did good! It turned out so cute. Glad she liked it!
Oh my gosh, that's so cute and the model is adorable :) Like Gail said, what do you mean "that's it?"!!! I don't know the first thing about knitting or crafting of any kind like that, so I am totally and thoroughly impressed (and a little jealous, too!)
:)
Hi Deb,
I'm glad you stopped by my blog to let me know that 43 can't be that bad!
I'd love to learn how to knit - I'm hoping to get to a class this year.
Love the hat!
